Fresh Grad Rotation Program
The Fresh Grad Rotation Program is a full-time, two-year rotational program for graduates interested in IT to gain exposure into Ingram Micro’s Global Platforms Technology organization. Through rotations in SAP Application Development, Platform Engineering, and AI/Data Science, you'll gain a mix of technical and leadership skills that will shape you into future IT leaders.

I love working at Ingram Micro because it offers me the flexibility and growth opportunities to excel in my role and expand it by leveraging my expertise. My journey began as an intern in Event Services in 2022, and after sharing my plans to get an MA in Communication, my manager extended my internship. I finished my degree in May and started full-time as an Associate Event Planner a week after graduation.
Starting as an intern, I was fortunate to have great leadership and mentors guiding me through my early career. I seized numerous opportunities to grow personally and professionally and learned to work effectively with diverse colleagues. The freedom to fail fast allowed me to learn quickly and continuously improve, ultimately becoming a well-rounded and capable full-time associate.
The internship program was the best decision for my early career, equipping me with knowledge and providing a safe space to develop essential social skills. By the time I became an associate, I was fully accustomed to our team and processes, enabling me to start high-impact projects immediately. The program also gave me lifelong friends and fun memories, and I highly recommend it to anyone.
I started my internship in June 2019, which was extended throughout my final semester at USC. I was brought on full time in January 2020 and have been with the same team since. My roles and responsibilities have changed over the years, and I now manage a team of two financial analysts.
Working at Ingram Micro has allowed me to develop both my professional career and personal goals. I started as an intern on the Global Business Process team in June 2022, and I was fortunate to extend my internship while completing my degrees. I was officially hired in September 2023, and I'm beyond grateful to continue my journey with the same team.

Summer Internship Program: The application process will open in March, applications are reviewed between March-April, and candidates may expect to hear back by the end of April.
Fresh Grad Rotation Program: The application process will open in April, applications are reviewed between April-May, and candidates may expect to hear back by the end of May.
Summer Internship Program: The Summer Internship Program starts in June, and lasts 10 weeks.
Fresh Grad Program: The Fresh Grad Rotation Program starts in July, and spans 2 years, with rotations of 6 months in each department. After completing the program, you will continue your career with Ingram Micro, being matched to a department based on your preferences and feedback from leaders.
Internships: For all interns, you need to be currently enrolled or have graduated within the last quarter or semester from an accredited university. Depending on the specific department or position, there may be additional requirements, so please refer to the specific job description. We welcome applicants from all majors and backgrounds.
Fresh Grad Rotation Program: The Fresh Grad Rotation Program is designed for recent or upcoming graduates with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with a technical emphasis, maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Eligible candidates for the 2026 program should have graduated or be set to graduate by July 2026 from an accredited institution. Practical IT experience through internships is preferred, and a solid understanding of IT, Software Engineering, Data Science is required. Candidates should be passionate about technology trends and eager to advance their career in tech and business, with at least novice-level software development skills.
These programs are primarily based in Irvine, CA, and Buffalo, NY, but future opportunities may also include other locations.
The best way to be prepared and stand out is to keep your resume updated, polished, and ready to go. Of course, it’s great to highlight any related work/internship experience, but don’t discount things like capstone projects, class projects, or even extracurricular activities you’re involved in. We love to see candidates who are engaged and plugged in at school - it helps us understand your initiative, teamwork, and leadership skills just as much as job experience does.
You can be considered for multiple roles. However, we advise candidates to be selective and apply for the positions that best match their skills and interests.
