The HR Business Partner supports managers and employees by delivering practical, business-focused HR partnership aligned with company policies, local labor legislation, and organizational goals. This role is ideal for an HR professional with solid foundational experience who is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, and taking ownership of HR topics from initiation through resolution.
The position partners closely with leaders, employees, and the broader HR team to support employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives. The HR Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to managers, providing clear guidance on people-related matters while helping drive a positive, high-performing, and inclusive work environment.
Success in this role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong "we own it together" approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a trusted HR partner and first point of contact for managers and employees on HR-related matters, providing practical guidance in line with company policies and applicable labor laws.
Support and manage employee relations topics, including performance, workplace concerns, team dynamics, and employee experience matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and timely resolution.
Partner with leaders on core HR processes, including performance management, compensation planning, talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning activities.
Utilize HR metrics, employee feedback, and organizational data to identify trends and support initiatives focused on engagement, retention, organizational effectiveness, and associate performance.
Support talent management activities by identifying development opportunities, coordinating talent discussions, and assisting with development planning for future growth and succession needs.
Collaborate proactively with Talent Acquisition teams regarding hiring plans, business changes, skill gaps, and organizational needs.
Manage HR cases and operational tasks in a high-volume environment while ensuring accurate documentation, strong follow-up, and compliance with internal processes.
Guide and support new managers in understanding their people management responsibilities, HR processes, and leadership expectations.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and implementation of HR best practices that enhance employee experience and company culture.
Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and wider HR team, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
What you'll bring:
At least 3 years experience of experience in Human Resources field in a GBS or BPO, preferably as an HR Business Partner;
Good knowledge of the Bulgarian employment legislation;
Excellent communication skills. English - C1;
Sound knowledge of MS Office is required. Experience with Workday is an asset
University degree in HR, Business Administration or other relevant (considered an advantage)
