Junior Accountmanager SMB – Microsoft at Ingram Micro in Diegem

Location: Diegem | Office-based: Monday to Wednesday

Are you at the start of your commercial career and eager to grow within the Microsoft ecosystem? As a Junior Accountmanager SMB, you will play an important role in supporting and expanding our Small & Medium Business customer base. This role is ideal for someone who is not afraid to pick up the phone, enjoys building relationships, and wants to grow towards an Account Manager position or another internal role within a dynamic, international organization.

About the role

In this inside sales position, you will be responsible for a healthy balance of 50% hunting and 50% retention. You will actively engage with lukewarm leads, collect as much relevant customer and business information as possible, and turn insights into commercial opportunities.

You will participate in marketing-driven calls, follow up on campaigns, and ensure smooth handovers where needed.

From day one, you will be coached by a Senior Business Development Manager, allowing you to learn quickly and grow professionally. You will also work closely with the vendor Microsoft, ensuring visibility, vendor alignment, and a strong understanding of their go-to-market strategy.

You will be working on-site in our Diegem office three times per week (Monday to Wednesday), ensuring close collaboration with your team, direct coaching, and strong alignment with Microsoft and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactively contacting SMB customers and partners via phone and email
  • Qualifying and enriching lukewarm leads by gathering relevant business and commercial insights
  • Managing and expanding existing customer relationships while actively hunting for new opportunities
  • Participating in and following up on marketing campaigns and marketing calls
  • Working closely with a Senior BDM, sales colleagues, marketing, and vendor teams
  • Keeping CRM systems up to date with accurate customer information
  • Acting as a professional and visible point of contact towards Microsoft

What you bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing or commercial role
  • A proactive mindset and no hesitation to pick up the phone
  • Strong communication skills in Dutch and French (English is a plus)
  • A customer-oriented approach combined with a clear commercial drive
  • Ambition to grow into an Account Manager role or another internal position
  • The ability to work independently while enjoying teamwork
  • Availability to work on-site in Diegem from Monday to Wednesday
