Ingram Micro has received two recognitions at the 2026 Career Show Awards: Gold in the “Best Office” category for its new workplace in Bulgaria and Bronze in the “Leadership Skills Development” category for its international Accelerating Leaders program. More than 300 entries were submitted across this year’s awards.

The Gold Award follows Ingram Micro’s move this year to a new office designed for hybrid work and the diverse needs of its people. The Bulgaria organization brings together professionals across a wide range of roles, teams and business areas who support projects, customers, partners and colleagues around the world. Their varied ways of working meant the office required a flexible, rather than one-size-fits-all, design.

To reflect this diversity, associates were consulted before the office was designed, helping the project team understand what people value when working together in person. Their feedback informed a mix of spaces for meetings and focused work, as well as informal conversations, creative collaboration and team interaction.

The project focused on making time together in the office meaningful, rather than emphasizing physical presence for its own sake. The space gives people more reasons and opportunities to meet, exchange ideas, collaborate and connect as teams.

“We wanted to create a space that reflects how we work today, preserving the flexibility that is central to our hybrid model while also creating opportunities to meet, exchange ideas and work together. That is why we started by asking our people what they need and how they want to use the space. The goal was not simply to create a place where people come to sit at their desks, but one that gives us a reason to be together,” said Aneliya Vitkova, Executive Director and Sofia Site Leader, Ingram Micro Bulgaria.

Ingram Micro also earned Bronze Award in the “Leadership Skills Development” category for Accelerating Leaders, an international program that brought managers from Bulgaria and the Philippines together in a shared development experience for the first time.

The program engaged 44 managers across the two locations. Participants addressed real business challenges while building skills in areas such as strategic thinking, communication, leadership presence, trust and team development.

Accelerating Leaders is part of Ingram Micro’s broader approach to people development by helping managers strengthen their skills, gain perspectives beyond their own functions and build professional connections with colleagues across the global organization.

“Both recognitions reflect something that matters deeply to us: creating an environment where people can work well together and continue to grow. One recognizes the physical space where we come together, while the other focuses on the opportunities we create for our people to develop and connect across locations. Although they are different initiatives, both reflect our commitment to investing in the environment and opportunities that help our people succeed,” added Vitkova.
