What a beautiful Loy Krathong celebration with the team!

The associates enjoyed every moment from receiving creatively decorated Krathong to preparing delicious snacks and food together.

Loy Krathong is a traditional Thai festival celebrated annually to honor the water goddess and seek forgiveness for using and polluting water. The festival usually occurs on the evening of the full moon in November, when waterways shimmer under the moonlight.

Participants craft krathongs—small, decorative floats made from banana leaves, flowers, candles, and incense. These floats are released into rivers, canals, or ponds, symbolizing the release of negative emotions, misfortunes, and gratitude toward the water deity.

The festival’s origins are often linked to a court Brahmin ritual during the Sukhothai era, adapted into a Buddhist celebration by incorporating reverence for Buddha and local beliefs. It has since become a cherished cultural event, uniting communities with festivities, traditional dances, and beauty pageants.

Loy Krathong reminds us to let go of the past, embrace positivity, and light the way to brighter days.

Wishing everyone peace, joy, and inspiration this Loy Krathong!
