Joost Huisman, one of our XVantage Platform Leads for EMEA, based in Barcelona, Spain shared his experience as a participant, highlighting the program’s significant impact on his professional journey.  Here are some takeaways from his testimonial. 

Joost emphasized some key elements of the program such as the 360-degree feedback exercise, at the start of the Talent Development Journey: “The 360-degree feedback exercise was incredibly helpful. It provided me with direct and constructive feedback from my colleagues, which gave me valuable insights into my strengths and areas for improvement.”  

He also emphasized the importance of building coalitions: “The program emphasized building coalitions, especially with positive colleagues, to drive change. The face-to-face sessions and role-playing exercises around coaching were particularly effective in putting these concepts into practice. I learned the importance of adopting a coaching role with junior team members.” 

The buddy groups formed during the program were instrumental in expanding participants’ networks. “I built relationships that will benefit my direct work”, shared Joost. Additionally, the program provided an excellent opportunity to connect with talented associates across the EMEA region and gain valuable insights. 

“The sessions were insightful and impactful, with a well-balanced schedule allowing deep dives into each subject,” Joost added.
