When Ananyaa Sanjeev joined Ingram Micro through a campus placement in August 2023, she had no idea how much her life was about to change. Now, nearly a year later, she reflects on a journey filled with learning, growth, and confidence.

From whom Ananyaa was 11 months ago to who I am now—the transformation has helped me a lot,” she says. “It’s been a truly transformative journey.

A Warm Welcome and Continuous Learning

Ananyaa’s first impression of Ingram Micro was shaped by the company’s structured induction and onboarding. “Every day brings a new learning—personally or professionally. That’s still true today,” she shares.

Even before officially joining, Ingram kept her engaged. “They didn’t leave us idle. There was constant communication, which made me feel like I was already part of the company,” she recalls.

Real Projects, Real Confidence

"As part of the GIO team, Ananyaa plays a supporting role in the Hardware Asset Management (HAM) project. She also contributes to creating monthly newsletters and vital signs and assists with the monthly data validation of devices, bringing together her technical knowledge and attention to detail."

I’ve gained confidence not just in speaking, but in knowing that what I say has meaning. I’ve also developed a broader understanding of technologies and methodologies,” she says.

 A Team That Empowers

Ananyaa credits much of her growth to her supportive team. “They don’t just give me answers—they let me try, think, and come back with solutions. That opens up my thinking box,” she explains.

In the beginning, tackling complex Excel commands and working with bundles of data felt overwhelming. Analyzing it all for work was no easy task. But thanks to the constant support from my buddy, manager, and the entire team—who patiently guided me through every step—I slowly gained confidence. Today, I handle it all independently and efficiently.

Mentorship That Matters

Having a buddy makes all the difference. “Just like a manager, a buddy helps you ease into the team. Mine helped me understand not just my role, but what others in the team do too,” she says.

Advice for Future Interns

You name it, you have it at Ingram,” Ananyaa says with a smile. “Whether it’s career development or personal growth, this place has it all.

Her one word to describe the experience? “Transformation.”
