Some journeys are so meaningful, they bring you back to where you truly belong. That’s exactly what happened with Luna Gupta, who rejoined Ingram Micro in 2023 after a brief time away — and picked up right where she left off, with even more passion and purpose.

Based in Mumbai, India, Luna is part of the GPT Engineering group, leading the SAP Order to Cash vertical and managing SAP project delivery across Ingram Micro globally. With over 17 years of experience in IT, she brings a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration to her role.

A Career That Came Full Circle

“I joined Ingram in 2015 and left in 2021. Then, I joined back in the same team in 2023.”

Luna’s return speaks volumes about the culture and connections she found at Ingram Micro. Her background in biotechnology and marketing, combined with her IT experience, has shaped her into a versatile leader who thrives in dynamic environments.

What Ingram Micro Means to Her

“Being part of Ingram brings in a sense of gratitude to start with. It offers me the perfect platform to collaborate with colleagues from across the world, which broadens my understanding of different cultures and ways of working — helping me grow both professionally and personally.”

A Culture of Mentorship and Motivation

“I’m proud to be part of a team that genuinely values collaboration and always lends a helping hand. The openness and support I receive from my seniors, peers, and even junior colleagues have made mentorship and learning an everyday experience.”

Luna finds motivation in the people around her — and in the trust she’s given to lead and innovate.

Feeling Heard, Trusted, and Empowered

“I feel included and valued at work when I’m in an environment where I can speak freely and share my ideas and perspective. Ingram gives me this feeling every time I feel heard, receive support from my team, get recognized for my contributions, and trusted with opportunities to grow.”

Lessons in Adaptability

“Adaptability is one thing I’ve learned these years with Ingram. Observing my colleagues on how to handle change, challenges, and new ideas has helped me develop resilience and flexibility. It takes away a lot of stress, to be honest.”

Her Advice to Future Ingram Micro Talent

“Ingram is a great place to work. It has lots of opportunities for everyone to grow, learn, and build a strong career path. It offers a collaborative and inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives and provides a supportive environment where employees are empowered. You can make great friends here.”
