We’re excited to spotlight two of our team members, Sinead Dissel from The Netherlands and Rogerio Dakil from Brazil. We sat down with both and had a great conversation in which they shared stories on their experiences, growth, and advice.
What motivated you to join Ingram Micro and the AWS team?
For both Sinead and Rogerio, joining Ingram Micro was a decision rooted in purpose and alignment with their values.
“When I started thinking seriously about my next career move, I knew one thing for sure: the future of cloud is only getting bigger, and I wanted to be part of that growth with a company I could trust. Ingram Micro stood out, not just for its AWS focus, but because people stay. I did my homework before the interview and saw employees with five/ten-plus years of tenure. That told me everything I needed to know. People don’t stick around that long unless the culture is solid. I wanted to specialize and stay true to the customer, and Ingram Micro gave me that opportunity.”
— Sinead Dissel, Business Development Manager AWS, Netherlands
“Having worked in the industry, I was already familiar with Ingram Micro and had crossed paths with many people from the company over the years. It was always a positive experience—everyone I met was approachable, collaborative, and genuinely supportive. So, when the opportunity came up, I already had a strong sense of the culture.”
— Rogerio Dakil, Sr. Professional, Professional Services, Brazil
