We’re excited to spotlight two of our team members, Sinead Dissel from The Netherlands and Rogerio Dakil from Brazil. We sat down with both and had a great conversation in which they shared stories on their experiences, growth, and advice. 

What motivated you to join Ingram Micro and the AWS team?

For both Sinead and Rogerio, joining Ingram Micro was a decision rooted in purpose and alignment with their values.

“When I started thinking seriously about my next career move, I knew one thing for sure: the future of cloud is only getting bigger, and I wanted to be part of that growth with a company I could trust. “Our first OLA (Opportunity and Licensing Assessment) was a big win. We were a new team and getting that first success felt amazing.”

“Being invited to lead customer briefings in Seattle with AWS was huge. We opened nearly 70 opportunities in two weeks. That level of trust and impact—it was unforgettable.”

What’s it like working with a global team across regions?

Working across regions has been both enriching and eye-opening.

“We meet monthly with BDMs across EMEA, and I’ve built strong connections with colleagues in the UK. Collaborating globally, brings fresh perspectives.”
