We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Group Business Manager to lead the growth and development of our Solar Business portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end category management, including product strategy, assortment planning, pricing, and vendor relationships. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, market knowledge, and business acumen to drive category performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic roadmap to drive category growth, profitability, and market share.

  • Product Assortment & Development: Identify gaps in the category, introduce new products, and optimize the existing portfolio.

  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research to understand trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.

  • Vendor & Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating the best terms for pricing, margins, and supply chain efficiency.

  • Pricing & Promotion Management: Define pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and discounts to optimize revenue and customer acquisition.

  • Sales & Performance Analysis: Monitor category performance using key metrics (sales, margins, inventory turnover, conversion rates, etc.) and take data-driven actions to improve outcomes.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, supply chain, and digital teams to enhance category visibility and customer experience.

  • Inventory & Demand Planning: Ensure optimal stock levels, minimize stock-outs, and manage demand forecasting effectively.

  • Customer Insights & Experience: Utilize customer feedback and behavioral data to improve product selection and overall category experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree with Specialization in Marketing, Product Management, or a related field.

  • Senior Professional with 10 years + experience in product management, preferably in Solar Business.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.

  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and relationship-building skills.

  • Hands-on experience with pricing strategies, demand planning, and inventory management.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills to drive cross-functional initiatives.
