From Trainee to Team Lead: a testament of growth and collaboration
Dennis Kopp, Team Lead, Operations Ingram Micro Lifecycle, Germany
Dennis Kopp stepped into the world of Ingram Micro back in 2015. Little did he know that this journey would shape his career as Team Lead.
August marked his entry into Ingram Micro as a trainee. Fast forward a few years, and he started in technical challenges. As part of the Apple Repair team, he delved into the intricacies of fixing devices. Since March, he’s leading a team of 8 people “When I started at Ingram Micro, I couldn’t imagine I would be a team lead. I think this is the highest position I can get, but maybe I can get higher, the future is a surprise”.
When talking about the culture at Ingram Micro, Dennis shared “I received all the support needed, the coworkers helped me a lot. There’s an open culture, if we have a problem we can reach out to our manager and exchange ideas and knowledge.”
When asked about his current responsibilities as a Team Lead, he said “Now, my main responsibility is to order new materials for this location and manage the team. Although managing the stock, ensuring everything is in the right place. We work on a system that allows us to identify when parts for refurbishment are too empty and then, we need to order something new.”
Dennis’s journey from trainee to team leader exemplifies the opportunities within Ingram Micro. Join us on this dynamic journey.
“What I love most about working at Ingram Micro is that every day is a different day. I do different things, and this is one of the best things.”
