The Global Platform Business Strategy and Operations Sr Advisor, acts as a force multiplier for the leader of Global Platform Business (GPB)—a strategic operator who drives execution, alignment, and organizational health, ensuring the “engine” of the platform business runs smoothly while leadership focuses on the broader GTM strategy. This position reports directly to the Senior VP, Global Platform Operations to translate organizational priorities into actionable plans, drive high-impact cross-functional initiatives, and ensure the commercial success of the Ingram Micro Xvantage™ platform.
Your role:
Strategic Operations & Execution
Lead the leadership staff meetings
Focused on high-impact GTM and financial performance
Shield executive time ensuring only the most critical platform and GTM issues surface
Track and report progress of key GTM initiatives across the GPB to ensure they aren’t stalling
Monitor health and adoption of the Xvantage Vendor GTM model; track KPIs and identify “red flags” before they impact the bottom line
Program Management & Cross-Functional Alignment
Track progress, dependencies, risks, and deadlines for all critical initiatives and cross-functional strategic projects
Maintain a central action-item tracker for the Senior Leadership Team and executive commitments
Drive accountability across functions, proactively identifying bottlenecks and escalating issues
Act as connective tissue between the GPB, regional sales, platform teams, Finance, Sales, and Marketing
Executive Operations & Communication
Plan, prepare, and facilitate senior leadership meetings; develop agendas, briefing materials, and key discussion points
Capture and track key decisions, action items, and follow-ups, ensuring seamless and efficient execution
Synthesize complex platform data into executive presentations, executive decks, and internal communications articulating the vision of the GPG and GPB
Capture the executive “voice” for internal town halls or vendor-facing presentations
Special Projects & Organizational Impact
Lead projects—market opportunity assessments, vendor adoption analysis—requiring high-level discretion and rapid execution
Keep a pulse on organizational culture and identify potential gaps as the organization scales
Build and institutionalize frameworks, processes, and best practices for long-term execution excellence
What you bring to the role:
8–12+ years in management consulting, business operations, or high-growth tech
Deep familiarity with PaaS or B2B GTM models
Bachelor’s degree. MBA preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
“Influence without authority” capabilities in a matrixed global organization
Advanced data synthesis and storytelling skills
Strategic thinker with a bias for action and operational rigor
Highly collaborative; builds credibility across all organizational levels
Comfortable navigating ambiguity while delivering clarity and structure
Results-oriented with strong execution discipline

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $165,700.00 - $281,700.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
