Shape the Future of Technology Distribution

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in driving customer success, platform adoption, pipeline growth, and vendor engagement. Leveraging data-driven insights and strong relationship-building skills, you will help reseller partners and vendors maximize value while accelerating business outcomes.

What You'll Do
Platform & Business Development
- Drive utilization and adoption of the Xvantage platform across assigned reseller partners and vendors.
- Identify opportunities to increase customer engagement, solution adoption, pipeline generation, and revenue growth.
- Leverage platform insights and data to recommend actions that improve partner and vendor outcomes.
- Support recruitment, enablement, customer acquisition, upsell, cross-sell, and retention initiatives.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Build trusted relationships with customers, reseller partners, and vendors.
- Proactively engage stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Deliver tailored recommendations and solutions that align with customer needs.
- Serve as a primary point of contact and advocate for assigned accounts.
Solution Enablement & Sales Support
- Develop expertise across assigned technology solutions, services, and vendor portfolios.
- Collaborate with sales teams to uncover opportunities and position relevant solutions.
- Support pre-sales activities, including presentations, solution discussions, and proposal development.
- Create and deliver training, sales collateral, and enablement resources that drive solution adoption.
Vendor Collaboration
- Partner closely with vendors to understand product updates, promotions, programs, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Align vendor priorities with customer opportunities to maximize mutual success.
- Advocate for customer needs while strengthening strategic vendor relationships.
Market & Industry Knowledge
- Stay current on technology trends, competitive offerings, and market developments.
- Utilize market intelligence and platform insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Position Ingram Micro as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 1+ years of experience in sales, business development, account management, customer success, or a customer-facing technology environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information effectively to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify business opportunities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM or sales enablement platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within the technology, IT distribution, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, or software industry.
- Familiarity with channel sales, reseller ecosystems, or vendor-partner business models.
- Experience utilizing business intelligence tools, customer data, or platform analytics to drive sales outcomes.
- Knowledge of consultative selling, solution selling, or account growth strategies.
- Experience facilitating customer training, presentations, or product demonstrations.
- Understanding of digital platforms and marketplace technologies.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $49,500.00 - $79,200.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
