Position Summary
The Logistics Associate I supports day-to-day warehouse and distribution center operations by receiving, validating, sorting, processing, packing, and shipping products accurately and efficiently. This role follows established standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, quality standards, and work instructions to ensure inventory is handled correctly and customer orders are fulfilled on time. The Logistics Associate I works under direct supervision, performs routine and structured warehouse tasks, and contributes to a safe, organized, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, validate, and process inbound products according to documented warehouse procedures and system requirements.
- Sort, stage, and route products based on designated processing, inventory, disposition, or shipping criteria.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment while maintaining accuracy, quality, and productivity standards.
- Use basic computer systems, warehouse management systems, RF scanners, or handheld devices to record product movement and support inventory accuracy.
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials using approved material handling equipment, including pallet jacks or other equipment after proper training.
- Support inventory control activities by verifying counts, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues outside of standard procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area by following housekeeping, 5S, safety, and operational guidelines.
- Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions, attendance expectations, and safety requirements.
- Communicate with team members, leads, and supervisors to support workflow, resolve routine issues, and meet daily operational goals.

You are a dependable, detail-oriented team member who is comfortable performing routine warehouse, logistics, distribution, receiving, shipping, packing, sortation, and inventory handling tasks in a structured environment. You take pride in accuracy, safety, productivity, and attendance; follow directions and standard procedures; and ask questions when guidance is needed. You are willing to learn warehouse systems, equipment, and processes while contributing to a positive and reliable team operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to perform routine warehouse, logistics, distribution, receiving, shipping, packing, sorting, material handling, or inventory support tasks.
- Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions, standard operating procedures, safety rules, and quality guidelines.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to learn warehouse systems, RF scanners, handheld devices, or other operational tools.
- Ability to accurately validate, count, sort, label, move, stage, pack, and process products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, teamwork, communication, and commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and attendance standards.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, move, and handle products as required by assigned warehouse tasks and site safety guidelines.
- Must be able to work the assigned schedule, follow attendance expectations, and work effectively under direct supervision.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education preferred.
- Experience in a warehouse, distribution center, logistics, fulfillment, manufacturing, retail stockroom, inventory, shipping, or receiving environment preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners, warehouse management systems, handheld devices, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment preferred.
- Experience supporting inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, product sortation, cycle counts, packing, shipping, receiving, or returns processing preferred.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $30,200.00 - $45,300.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
