Hybrid Role: 3 days/week onsite
Compensation: Up to $100,000 annual base salary + 10% target bonus


Position Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for month‑end close, operational accounting, audit support, and financial reporting across multiple RLR entities, including Fort Worth, Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica. This role supports complex business programs spanning Trade, Liquidations, Asset Management, and intercompany transactions, while partnering closely with Finance, Operations, IT, and external auditors.


This position requires strong technical accounting expertise, advanced analytical skills, and experience operating in multi‑entity, high‑volume environments.


Key Responsibilities

Month‑End Close & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and post journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Review monthly results and perform variance analysis across multiple systems
  • Prepare inventory reserve analyses in accordance with corporate policy and GAAP


Operational & Intercompany Accounting

  • Approve purchase orders and vendor invoices; generate customer invoices
  • Create manual customer invoices and intercompany cash settlements
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items across balance sheet accounts


Audit, Compliance & Controls

  • Support annual statutory audits, including PBC schedules and audit deliverables
  • Partner with external auditors and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries
  • Review and approve audited financial statements


Systems, Data & Process Improvement

  • Provide finance input on ERP/system implementations and enhancements
  • Participate in requirements definition, testing, and go‑live support
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen accuracy, controls, and efficiency


General Accounting

  • Maintain lease accounting for U.S. RLR entities in accordance with GAAP and corporate policy
  • Maintain fixed asset accounting per GAAP and corporate AFCE and Fixed Asset policies
  • Prepare weekly financial reporting and analysis using advanced Excel functionality


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    • Month‑end close and journal entries
    • Balance sheet reconciliations
    • Financial reporting and variance analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets)
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills
  • Ability to work independently and partner cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, and IT


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting multi‑entity or international operations
  • Prior involvement in statutory audits and PBC management
  • Experience with:
    • Inventory accounting and reserve analysis
    • Intercompany accounting and settlements
    • Lease accounting and fixed assets
  • Experience supporting system implementations or process improvement initiatives
  • Background in high‑volume, operationally complex business environments

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $78,000.00 - $124,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
