Hybrid opportunity in Irvine, California with the opportunity to work 3 days a week in our Global HQ.

At Ingram Micro, the Innovation & Execution Manager for Global Platform Business – Innovation & Execution will spearhead executive-level transformations that will redefine not only our business but also our partnerships and the broader industry. We are building a high-performance machine designed to rapidly identify and accelerate our most promising growth concepts - and we’re looking for a builder to help drive it. As an Innovation & Execution Manager, you’ll take ideas from concept to scaled, revenue-generating assets across a global platform that drives billions in incremental revenue across the globe.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of entrepreneurial thinking and disciplined execution. You’ll spot opportunities to develop new functionality ahead of the market, run fast pilots with business teams to validate and improve capabilities, and - once you prove a model - scale it.

The role:

  • Hunt for opportunity. Synthesize market trends and internal friction to identify high-potential “white space” where we can win, and turn abstract ideas into actionable business cases.

  • Execute at high velocity. Run lightweight prototypes and live pilots with business teams, validating ROI with real data before driving proven assets to global scale.

  • Advise and influence. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, guiding decisions through structured narratives and building cross-functional alignment across Product, Data, Engineering, and go-to-market teams.

  • Own outcomes. Drive measurable impact across revenue, margin, and productivity - and know when to kill weak ideas early to concentrate resources on the strongest bets.

What you bring to the role:

You’re an emerging leader — early-to-mid career, high-ceiling, and hungry to build. You bring an entrepreneurial edge, and you’re looking for a platform where you can make an outsized impact.

  • High-velocity executor. You practice ruthless prioritization, articulating logical, calculated trade-offs to preserve momentum rather than getting paralyzed by process.

  • Self-directed hunter. You drive initiatives forward autonomously and resiliently, without waiting for top-down direction or external prompts.

  • Strategic & entrepreneurial thinker. You methodically uncover root causes, synthesize complex data independently, and champion new approaches to solve complex business problems.

  • Trusted advisor with executive presence. You establish credibility quickly, hold your narrative when challenged, and guide senior stakeholders to consensus.

  • Collaborative facilitator. You bring cross-functional teams along, ensuring their insights inform the strategy and they’re aligned on execution.

  • A four-year college degree or equivalent relevant experience.

  • 8 + years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years spent managing strategic initiatives. PMI and Agile Project Management certifications are highly valued.

  • Demonstrated expertise in leading business transformations and advising executives to deliver substantial outcomes.

  • Key competencies such as strategic insight, innovative thinking, and a results-driven mindset are essential. Strong communication, conflict resolution, and change management abilities are also required.

  • Entrepreneurial experience a strong plus — you’ve started, built, or scaled something from the ground up.

  • A clear pattern of growth and impact, with a demonstrated ability to lead initiatives from start to finish.

  • Comfort with ambiguity, data-driven decision-making, and modern tools (AI/Copilot, analytics) to accelerate the work.

  • This role will involve international travel, up to 10%.
