Ingram Micro is seeing a Senior Principal, Product Manager to lead the design and execution of high-impact, innovative solutions across our digital platform and strategic vendor ecosystem.
This is a strategic product leadership role at the intersection of product management, solution architecture, AI, technology, and business transformation. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable engaging with C-suite stakeholders and strategic vendors, defining product vision, designing complex solutions, and driving cross-functional execution through measurable business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a strategic builder and technology leader who can identify high-value business opportunities, architect innovative solutions, leverage emerging AI and agentic technologies, and lead them end-to-end from strategy → solution design→ product → launch → adoption → measurable business outcomes.
This role is for a builder and change agent who can operate in ambiguity, simplify complex problems, influence without authority, and turn ideas into scalable platform capabilities identifying where AI, generative AI, intelligent automation, and agentic AI can fundamentally reinvent how partners, vendors, and customers interact with the platform.
What You’ll Do
1. Drive Strategic Platform Innovation
Own the strategy and solution vision for complex, high-value initiatives across the platform and strategic vendor ecosystem.
Partner directly with key technology vendors and platform partners to identify opportunities for revenue growth, customer acquisition, partner expansion, portfolio penetration, automation, and operational efficiency.
Translate vendor strategies, market trends, customer needs, and business priorities into differentiated platform solutions.
Identify opportunities to create reusable capabilities that can scale across multiple vendors, markets, and customer segments.
Establish the business case, value proposition, roadmap, investment requirements, and success metrics for strategic initiatives.
2. Serve as a Product Leader + Solution Architect
Serve as the end-to-end solution architect with a product mindset, connecting business strategy to technology execution.
Translate complex business problems into scalable product and technology solutions.
Define product vision, capabilities, user journeys, requirements, MVPs, roadmaps, and release strategies.
Balance business value, technical feasibility, scalability, security, cost, and speed to market.
Create reusable solution patterns that can scale across vendors, markets, and customer segments.
Ensure solutions are designed for adoption, operational readiness, and measurable business impact.
3. Own the Full Product Lifecycle
Lead initiatives from concept through production and measurable business value.
Develop product vision, strategy, requirements, user journeys, capabilities, MVP scope, roadmap, and release strategy.
Translate complex business problems into clear product requirements and executable epics/features.
Partner with engineering, architecture, UX, data, operations, commercial teams, finance, legal, and vendor teams to drive execution.
Remove roadblocks, manage dependencies, make trade-offs, and maintain accountability for outcomes.
Ensure solutions are adopted, scaled, continuously improved, and deliver the intended business value.
4. Drive AI Solutions with Strategic Vendors & Partners
Work directly with strategic technology vendors and partners to identify opportunities to combine their technologies, products, data, and AI capabilities with the platform.
Help vendors and partners develop AI-powered solution offers that can be brought to market through the platform.
Understand emerging AI technologies, architectures, models, agent frameworks, APIs, data platforms, and cloud services sufficiently to translate them into business and commercial solutions.
Develop joint AI solution strategies with vendors, hyperscalers, ISVs, and technology partners.
Identify opportunities to create differentiated AI bundles, solutions, services, and commercial offerings.
Define the capabilities and integrations required from vendors to enable scalable AI solutions.
Establish joint go-to-market strategies and commercialization models for AI-powered solutions.
5. Create New Revenue & Growth Opportunities
Proactively identify and incubate new growth opportunities across the platform.
Develop growth bets, business cases, experiments, and commercialization strategies.
Look beyond incremental feature development to identify opportunities for new business models, automation, subscriptions, services, cross-sell, renewals, marketplace expansion, and platform monetization.
Define measurable outcomes including revenue, gross profit, adoption, customer acquisition, partner growth, attach rate, retention, automation, and productivity.
Establish mechanisms to rapidly test, validate, scale, or stop new ideas.
6. Influence at Executive Level
Present strategy, investment cases, solution architectures, roadmaps, and business outcomes to senior executives.
Build alignment across stakeholders with competing priorities and interests.
Communicate complex technical and business concepts with clarity and executive-level perspective.
Serve as a trusted advisor to business, technology, product, and vendor leadership.
Establish credibility as a subject-matter expert and thought leader across platform and vendor solutions.

What You Bring to the Role
10+ years of experience in product management, solution architecture, technology strategy, digital transformation, platform development, consulting, or related discipline.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus
Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional technology and business initiatives from concept through execution and measurable outcomes.
Strong combination of product management and solution architecture capabilities.
Experience designing solutions involving multiple systems, APIs, data flows, business processes, and technology platforms.
Demonstrated experience working with strategic technology vendors, partners, or enterprise customers.
Strong understanding of enterprise platforms, SaaS/cloud business models, digital commerce, APIs, integrations, and modern technology architectures.
Experience developing business cases and translating strategy into investment decisions and executable roadmaps.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior executives, stakeholders and cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Exceptional strategic thinking, structured problem solving, communication, and executive presence.
Ability to operate effectively in highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
Strong understanding of agile product development and modern software delivery practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2B technology distribution, cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, or enterprise technology ecosystems.
Experience working with major technology vendors and hyperscalers.
Experience with digital commerce, marketplaces, subscriptions, renewals, lifecycle management, CPQ/configuration, or partner ecosystems.
Experience applying AI/ML or agentic AI to automate business processes and create new customer or partner experiences.
Experience building platforms or products that operate across multiple countries, markets, vendors, or business models.
Experience taking new concepts from 0→1 and scaling them from 1→N.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,900.00 - $270,100.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
