Senior Product Operations Analyst

Position Overview

Ingram Micro is seeking a Senior Product Operations Analyst to serve as the analytical engine behind Product Operations. This role is responsible for building the financial, operational, and reporting foundation that enables Product Operations to operate as a portfolio of programs rather than individual projects.

The Senior Product Operations Analyst partners with Product Ops leadership, Engineering, Finance and Warehouse Operations teams to develop cost models, profitability reporting, KPI dashboards, and decision-support analytics. Success in this role requires strong business analysis skills, financial acumen, and the ability to convert complex data into actionable recommendations that improve operational performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Management & Profitability Reporting

  • Partner with Product Ops leadership to design, implement, and maintain costing methodologies.
  • Analyze and manage key cost drivers, including labor, materials, freight, and other costs.
  • Develop and maintain work-center burden rates, allocation methodologies, and cost models.
  • Monitor labor reporting, throughput metrics, and operational data to ensure costing accuracy and consistency.
  • Deliver profitability reporting and analysis that improves visibility into product, process, and program performance.

Program Financial Management

  • Develop and maintain program-level financial reporting across Product Ops.
  • Analyze revenue, cost, margin, and ROI performance to identify key drivers and improvement opportunities.
  • Build business cases, forecasts, and financial models to support investment and operational decisions.
  • Contribute to business reviews, prioritization discussions, and implementation planning through analytical and financial insights.

Business Intelligence & KPI Governance

  • Partner with Product Operations leadership and program owners to define KPIs and operational performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions that provide visibility into financial and operational performance.
  • Establish standardized KPI definitions, reporting methodologies, and governance practices.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and integrity across operational and financial reporting.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cost Accounting, Manufacturing Finance, FP&A, Operations Finance, Business Analysis, or related discipline.
  • Experience developing and maintaining cost models, standard costing methodologies, and WMS/ERP system management.
  • Experience developing dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
  • Experience building financial models, business cases, forecasts, and ROI analyses.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with Operations, Finance, and cross-functional business leaders.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, refurbishment, reverse logistics, supply chain, distribution, or technology operations environments.
  • Experience developing KPI frameworks and operational performance reporting.
  • Experience with SQL, Power Query, Power Automate, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience implementing automated reporting and self-service business intelligence solutions.
  • Lean Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence experience.
  • Experience supporting program management, change management, or cross-functional business initiatives.
