E-Commerce Operations Analyst


Position Summary

The E-Commerce Operations Analyst is responsible for optimizing pricing and profitability across multiple e-commerce marketplaces, maintaining listing accuracy, developing business reporting, improving inventory performance, and supporting operational projects.


Working closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, Customer Support, and Transportation teams, you'll support marketplace performance across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Back Market, Best Buy, and B2B channels. Approximately 10–20% of the role will support transportation and liquidation activities.


Key measures of success include:

  • Pricing optimization and profitability improvement
  • Marketplace listing accuracy
  • Reporting and business insights
  • Improved inventory turns and reduced aging inventory
  • Cross-functional project execution and process improvement
  • Effective shipment and liquidation coordination


Key Responsibilities

Pricing, Inventory & Marketplace Management

  • Analyze pricing, costs, margins, and competitive market trends to optimize profitability.
  • Monitor inventory performance and recommend allocation strategies across sales channels.
  • Improve inventory turns and support liquidation efforts.
  • Create, maintain, and optimize marketplace listings across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Back Market, Best Buy, and other platforms.
  • Ensure accuracy of product content, pricing, inventory, and promotional data.


Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking for sales, inventory, profitability, and marketplace performance.
  • Analyze business trends and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities.


Project & Process Improvement

  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and operational projects.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Support implementation of new systems, integrations, and reporting tools.


Transportation & Logistics Support

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with transportation providers.
  • Support execution of inventory movement and liquidation activity.
  • Monitor freight performance, costs, and shipment documentation.
  • Partner with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely fulfillment.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, business analytics, supply chain, inventory management, or related functions.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and INDEX/MATCH.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
  • Experience developing recommendations from data and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Back Market, Best Buy, or other online marketplaces.
  • Experience with inventory management or eCommerce platforms (e.g., Quipt, ChannelAdvisor, Linnworks, Seller Central, etc.).
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/reporting tools.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, wireless, or refurbished products.
  • Transportation or logistics coordination experience.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $66,100.00 - $105,800.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.

At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
