Ingram Micro is the of the largest Microsoft distribution partners globally. AI Business Solutions (AIBS) is Microsoft's solution area for Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio and agents, and the full suite of Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365. It is where most customers first put AI to work.
The Practice Lead, AI Business Solutions is Ingram Micro's subject-matter expert for the solution area, with Copilot as a key priority. Working toward goals set with the Director, Microsoft, the role determines how to grow the practice: which solution plays to prioritize, which partners to develop, and how to apply Microsoft investment programs so partners sell, deploy, and drive adoption of Copilot and agents. The role manages the practice plan and its core processes with limited oversight.
The role works closely with the Technical Services Lead, the Solutions GTM Lead, and the other Microsoft Practice Leads, and with sales, services, marketing, and country teams who carry the practice into local markets. It also works directly with Microsoft's AI Business Solutions partner and field teams.
YOUR ROLE:
- Build and run the AI Business Solutions practice plan against goals set with the Director, Microsoft, including priority solution plays, target partners, and quarterly milestones
- Serve as Ingram Micro's subject-matter expert on Microsoft Copilot and agents and advise sales, services, and country teams on how to position them
- Build and manage global strategy for Copilot seat growth and adoption with sales and country teams, and shape local strategy for global consistency and alignment
- Package Microsoft solution plays into partner-ready offers with the Solutions GTM Lead, including readiness assessments, deployment and adoption bundles, positioning, pricing guidance, and enablement content
- Work directly with country sellers to understand partner business priorities, customer use cases, and capability gaps, and build practice development plans that close those gaps
- Recruit and develop partners programmatically on Copilot and business applications, guiding them toward Microsoft Solutions Partner designations and specializations in the solution area
- Apply Microsoft investment and incentive programs for Copilot and seat-based business to partner opportunities with the investments and operations teams, making sure funding is claimed, deployed, and reported on time
- Run guided Copilot trial and pilot programs that move customers from trial to paid seats and active use
- Partner with the Technical Services Lead and the Forward-Deployed Engineering practice to attach readiness, deployment, and adoption services to Copilot projects and agent builds into repeatable partner offers, reference solutions, and enablement, so partners can deliver them at scale
- Work with country teams to adapt solution plays and partner programs to local markets
- Build cost governance offers with partners for Copilot Credits and agent consumption, helping customers control usage-based spend as pay-as-you-go billing becomes the default
- Track seat-based renewal and recapture to drive growth and success in the overall reseller and customer base.
- Report practice performance to the Director, Microsoft, and contribute to business reviews with Microsoft
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:
