Helping Partners Succeed Through Technology, Collaboration, and Innovation
Marlene Bryan Sr Program Manager USA

When Marlene Bryan first considered joining Ingram Micro, two things immediately stood out: the people and the technology.
As someone who is passionate about innovation, the opportunity to work with a broad portfolio of technologies, vendors, products, and services was exciting. But what made an even stronger impression was the culture.
"The people were one of the biggest reasons I joined Ingram Micro," Marlene explains. "I noticed that many employees had been with the company for years, which says a lot about the culture and opportunities available here."
For Marlene, it felt like a place where people could build meaningful careers while continuously learning and growing.
Turning Technology into Business Growth
Today, Marlene serves as a Senior Program Manager and Worldwide Champion for HPE VM Essentials, helping partners understand, adopt, and grow their business around this innovative solution.
Her role brings together technology, strategy, and collaboration.
Working with a global network of VM Essentials champions, Marlene helps educate partners, drive new business opportunities, and support partner activation and growth. She also provides program governance, measures performance through key business metrics, and works closely with stakeholders to ensure strategic goals are achieved.
What she enjoys most is seeing technology create tangible business outcomes.
"I get to combine my passion for technology with helping partners succeed."
Building a Center of Excellence
One of Marlene's proudest accomplishments at Ingram Micro was helping create the Modern Infrastructure Center of Excellence during her time as Senior Manager, Services Execution.
The initiative brought together Technical Enablement Engineers, Business Unit leaders, and Marketing teams to create new learning and engagement opportunities for partners.
The goal was simple: help partners deepen their technology expertise while making it easier to access resources, demonstrations, services, and technical guidance.
The impact extended beyond training.
Partners gained the tools and knowledge needed to build stronger technology practices, design more effective solutions, and better support their own customers.
"Seeing the positive impact the Center of Excellence had on partner growth, technical capability, and customer success made it one of the most rewarding projects of my career."
Taking Ownership of Growth
For Marlene, professional development has never been something that happens by accident.
She credits much of her growth to open conversations with her manager about career goals and aspirations. Those discussions helped identify development opportunities, new challenges, and future career possibilities.
At the same time, she has taken an active role in shaping her own journey.
"I've taken a proactive approach by connecting with Business Unit leaders across the organization to learn more about their businesses and how my role can support their objectives."
By building relationships across different parts of the business, Marlene strengthened her understanding of Ingram Micro, expanded her business perspective, and developed skills that continue to support her career growth today.
Her advice is simple: growth happens when support and personal initiative come together.
A Culture That Shows Up When It Matters Most
Ask Marlene what makes Ingram Micro special and her answer comes quickly: the people.
She describes a culture where colleagues are supportive, collaborative, and always willing to help.
Whether she is seeking advice, working on a project, or learning something new, she knows she can count on people across the organization.
She also values opportunities to connect through Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), which help create a strong sense of belonging and community.
But one experience stands above all others.
During a difficult period following the loss of her sister-in-law, Marlene experienced firsthand the care and support of her manager and colleagues.
"My manager and teammates reached out to check on me, offered their support, and even sent floral arrangements. During a difficult time, their kindness meant a great deal to me and reinforced the caring culture that exists here."
For Marlene, this demonstrated that Ingram Micro is more than a workplace. It is a community of people who genuinely care about one another.
Learning, Growing, and Making an Impact
What keeps Marlene motivated is the opportunity to continue learning while helping others succeed.
She encourages anyone considering a career at Ingram Micro to embrace curiosity, collaboration, and new opportunities.
"If you're motivated to grow, you'll find plenty of support and opportunities to help you succeed."
For individuals who enjoy technology, problem-solving, and helping customers and partners achieve their goals, she believes Ingram Micro offers an environment where careers can thrive.
Working at Ingram Micro Means...
When asked to complete the sentence, "Working at Ingram Micro means...", Marlene's answer reflects both the purpose and impact she finds in her work.
"Working at Ingram Micro means being part of something bigger than myself. Every day, I have the opportunity to help partners and customers leverage technology to build the systems, infrastructure, and solutions that support their businesses."
For Marlene, the most rewarding part is knowing that every project, partnership, and solution contributes to something larger, helping organizations unlock the promise of technology and create meaningful results.
