Jefferson joined Ingram Micro on August 1, 2022, as the Head of Solutions Architecture. His role involves overseeing a team of architects dedicated to designing and implementing public cloud architectures. “A typical day in my role is dynamic and multifaceted, involving close collaboration with various stakeholders and oversight of the AWS solutions architect team,” he shares. Jefferson’s day includes engaging customers to understand their unique needs and delivering tailored high-impact solutions. 

Jefferson plays a key role in shaping and executing the Cloud Sales team’s strategies. “Our Pre-Sales team actively engages with AWS on various initiatives to strengthen our brand and build authority,” he explains. This strategic collaboration strengthens our market presence and drives significant growth for our cloud strategy with an AI engine that provides valued insights and information about our customers’ business. 

Among the projects Jefferson is most proud of is the development of the Cloud Advisory Plan (CAP) Framework. This framework aids decision-makers in crafting a structured plan and strategy for their company. “The CAP includes execution phases, total investment, and AWS funding options,” Jefferson notes. Another significant project was the creation of an automated service catalog, which has significantly increased the speed and accuracy of the solutions provided by PreSales to our clients. 

At Ingram Micro, collaboration is key. “As a liaison between the technical and business sides, our collaboration involves deeply understanding the client’s objectives and determining the best effort, technology, and timing to deliver the proposed solution,” Jefferson says.
