“I have been working at Ingram Micro for 5 years now. My responsibility is to recruit new Azure partners for us,” shares Patrick Paubandt, one of our dedicated associates. Starting with a small team of five in Germany, our Cloud Services Team has grown to nearly 20 members, reflecting our continuous expansion and success in the IaaS sector. 

Our associates play a crucial role in driving the success of our Cloud organization. “I am responsible for recruiting new Azure partners for the German IaaS team. I concentrate on the top Microsoft partners on the market,” explains Patrick. His typical week includes a mix of team meetings, customer appointments, trade fairs, and events. He also conducts onboarding sessions, licensing training, and webcasts, ensuring our partners are well-equipped to succeed. 

Collaboration is at the heart of our operations. “I always try to inspire the partner in all areas of business, not just Microsoft Azure. Xvantage as an all-in-one platform is a great help and the partners learn to understand the advantages of everything from a single source. Through this approach, I always collaborate with colleagues from other areas such as AWS, Veeam, etc.,” says Patrick. This cross-functional teamwork allows us to provide comprehensive solutions to our partners, leveraging the strengths of our diverse teams. 

Patrick takes pride in his accomplishments. “I am most proud of winning partner Evoila GmbH, the largest Azure partner win in the history of the German IaaS team,” shares Patrick. Such achievements highlight the dedication and expertise of our team members.
