Meet Piet Cammel, a Business Development Executive at Ingram Micro, who has been with us for almost two years. His journey showcases the professional development, growth opportunities, and supportive work environment at Ingram Micro.

Piet Cammel’s professional trajectory at Ingram Micro is marked by continuous growth and learning. He started his journey as an AWS Business Development Executive, and within a short span of six weeks, he achieved his AWS Cloud Practitioner certification. Operating in a compact team that functions with the agility of a startup, Piet has built a strong network within AWS and the partner landscape.

In his role, Piet is instrumental in managing complex sales engagements, driving partner programs, and fostering partner development. He also focuses on new business initiatives. His daily responsibilities include managing email correspondence, updating the sales funnel and pipeline, engaging with partners, and scheduling meetings with potential ones. His primary objective is to understand and facilitate the growth and go-to-market strategies of our development partners.

Ingram Micro fosters an open and diverse work culture. Piet shared “I appreciate the focus on business objectives, the absence of micro-management, and the respect for the individuals. The flexibility in work travel compared to his previous roles is an added advantage.”

Ingram Micro provided the opportunity to learn new technologies and integrate them into my work. It allows me to apply my 35 years of expertise in Sales & Partnerships for the benefit of my team
