Who are you and what makes you unique?

My name is Peronne, I am 30 years old and have been married for 2 years now. Originally I come from a small village near Tilburg and I started my career at a company in Breda where I spent 9 years. Here I went through multiple departments and eventually found myself in customer logistics where I was for 4 years.

After some changes in my career, I realized I enjoyed the transportation part of the job the most and therefore I moved to Ingram Micro. Recently I’m promoted to Senior which was very rewarding.

What part(s) of your role are giving you energy?

As customer logistics employee you are the link between all the departments and I love to stay connected with people and offer help where I can, so for me this is a very nice position to be in.

The thing I like the most is that each day is different, I'm working on a lot of different types of projects and tasks. There is a great amount of freedom in the role which is very fulfilling and makes me feel trusted within the organization.

What kind of role do you play in your team?

I always try to help everybody and it’s nice that people trust and like me enough to come to me with questions. I am someone who makes fast and informed decisions which has helped me in my position and career as well.

How do you switch off from work/relax?

During the weekend I like to go out with friends or family to have some nice dinner or drinks. I also enjoy spending time shopping and when I have the opportunity I really enjoy completing escape rooms.

Recently we went with the team to an escape room in Tilburg and it was all mini games that you had to complete before moving on. We did really well as a team and were the fastest that day which shows how well we can work together!

What motto/idea do you try to live by?

For work I have “be strong and trust yourself, be smart enough to know when to ask for help, and be brave enough to ask for it”.
