Who is Peter and what makes you unique?

I am Peter, a 45-year-old who's been on an incredible journey, sharing life's adventures with my partner and making the most of my time at Ingram Micro – because, you know, time flies when you're having a blast!

My passion lies in sales, business development, and people management, making my role as Business Unit Manager at Ingram Micro a perfect blend for me. I thrive on being hands-on and in the field, ensuring accessibility to my team and colleagues, all united to achieve our goals together.

Which aspects of your role give you positive energy and motivation?

There's nothing like the shared victories and the recognition that comes with it – whether it's a heartfelt thank you, a nod from a vendor, or the sweet bonuses and benefits we earn at Ingram Micro. Helping people, both professionally and personally, is a core value I hold dear.

How do you add an original twist to your role in the team, and what energy do you bring?

As the Business Unit Manager, I am responsible to keep the team together, fostering collaboration and acting as an ambassador bridging people, departments, and vendors. With a team of eight, we work towards collective targets, supporting each other's progress, and witnessing individual and team growth is truly fulfilling.

Outside of work, how do you recharge and find relaxation?

Being a true Belgian, I appreciate a good glass of beer, especially a hoppy-flavored blonde triple. Pair that with some video games or browsing second-hand sites for savvy deals – it's my way of relaxing and showcasing my commercial mindset, even in my personal life.

What is your ultimate life motto?

In my basketball days, a wise teammate once said, ""You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."" It's all about pushing yourself to be better.
