This role reports to the VP of Strategic Sourcing and is responsible for leading Global Strategic Sourcing for the Professional Services and Marketing categories, leading the India Sourcing organization, and continue to develop a Global Sourcing Center of Excellence that drives improved capabilities, scalability, and value creation across the Global Sourcing team and key cross-functional stakeholders. The Executive Director will establish the global vision, operating model, and transformation roadmap, partnering with senior leadership and key cross functional teams. (Global Platform Group, Finance, Legal, Ops, HR, etc.) to deliver enterprise-wide impact across cost, risk, innovation, and supplier value. Within the first year, the Executive Director is expected to establish the operating foundation, demonstrate early savings wins, and deliver a clear roadmap to drive value creation.
Your role:
Lead global sourcing for the Professional Services and Marketing categories including over $150M in global annual spend.
Develop and execute global category strategies across Professional Services and Marketing, segmenting suppliers by value tier and aligning sourcing plans to business priorities and market dynamics.
Lead sourcing initiatives and negotiate best-in-class agreements leveraging should-cost models, RFPs, and advanced analytics to drive total cost of ownership reduction and deliver year-over-year savings targets.
Manage supplier performance through defined SLAs, KPI scorecards, and structured business reviews, driving continuous improvement and accountability across the supply base.
Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships that deliver value across cost, quality, service levels, risk, and innovation, partnering with internal stakeholders to align supplier capabilities with business needs.
Monitor and mitigate supply risk, leveraging market intelligence, inflation mitigation strategies, and escalation/de-escalation mechanisms to ensure supply continuity and competitive pricing.
Lead and manage the India Sourcing team:
Provide direct leadership, coaching, and development for the India-based sourcing team, setting clear objectives, performance expectations, and career development plans to build a high-performing organization.
Define and align the India sourcing team’s scope, workload, and priorities with the global sourcing strategy, ensuring effective coverage across assigned categories, regions, and operational functions.
Partner with India-based leadership and HR to navigate local labor practices, compliance requirements, and organizational norms, while integrating the team into the broader global sourcing operating model.
Drive capability building within the India team through training, process standardization, and adoption of global tools, systems, and best practices to elevate sourcing competency and execution quality.
Establish and track team KPIs, including sourcing cycle times, savings delivery, contract coverage, and stakeholder satisfaction, reporting performance to senior leadership on a regular cadence.
Lead the development of a Global Sourcing Center of Excellence:
Create a Global Center of Excellence to enable the Global Sourcing team to achieve key best-in-class results through developing and implementing best practice standards in Global Sourcing processes, systems/tools, data, analytics, and reporting.
Develop and implement best practice processes across the Global Sourcing team for key processes such as strategic sourcing, category strategy development, supplier performance management, supplier contract development, cost savings tracking, project tracking and updates, business case development, etc. Work to standardize the processes across all Global Sourcing categories and with stakeholders globally. Leverage AI, robotics, and other techniques to automate key processes where possible.
Develop plans to fully leverage existing systems and tools that provide the Global Sourcing team key global data/information, analytical systems/tools, and advance analytics capabilities to track performance, track compliance to supplier agreements, support initiatives, and proactively assess issues and opportunities. Evaluate, secure approval, and implement new and/or improved systems and tools to provide needed information and system capabilities.
Create an analysis and reporting center of excellence including a central repository for key data/info, KPI reporting, performance dashboards, savings tracking, supplier scorecards, etc.
Develop and implement a Global Sourcing Playbook that informs and enables non-Sourcing stakeholders globally to conduct key sourcing activities (eg. RFPs) for small and/or low complexity initiatives.
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Procurement or equivalent. MBA a plus.
15+ years of experience with increasing leadership responsibilities, and a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory/management level position.
Strong Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management skills.
Excellent business acumen, financial, cost modeling, data analysis, and root cause problem solving skills.
Experience negotiating complex contracts including strategic partnerships, pricing, SLAs, and other terms and conditions.
Ability to track and manage supplier performance and set expectations for improvement.
Demonstrated ability to effectively identify, evaluate and implement solutions for customers.
Demonstrates comprehensive understanding of end-to-end processes, determining business requirements, and process improvement.
Supports and promotes cross functional team efforts, acting as process architect and organizational change agent.
Experience leading cross-functional teams to deploy, sustain, and improve on investments from tools, people, and processes.
Works with executives and operational stakeholders to ensure cross-functional understanding and cooperation to execute highly complex deployment and transformation initiatives in a global matrixed environment.
Highly self-motivated, consultative approach, enthusiastic and ability to create followership, and lives the “continuous improvement” philosophy and can drive change successfully, push back with alternate approaches or solutions, and constantly challenges others to strive for improvement.
Help define transformational strategies, ensure resource alignment, and successfully manages the transition, adaptation, and adoption of processes and functionality.

Position requires occasional travel, up to 25% of the time.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $206,900.00 - $372,400.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
