Meet Chantal Hulleman 

Chantal Hulleman is part of the Unified Support team at Ingram Micro, working from Belgium in a truly global role. Originally from the business side of the organization, she is motivated by one simple idea, making things better for people, processes, and the platform they rely on every day. 

“I’ve always enjoyed finding problems and looking at how we can improve them,” she says. “That’s what gives me energy.” 

That mindset, paired with curiosity and ownership, led her to a role where her impact reaches far beyond her own team. 

What Brought Her to Unified Support 

Before joining Unified Support, Chantal worked mainly in local, country-based teams. Moving into a global structure was a big shift, and exactly what attracted her. 

“What makes Unified Support different is the international aspect,” she explains. “You work with people, users, and situations from all over the world. It makes the work dynamic and interesting.” 

Unified Support sits at the center of Ingram Micro’s digital platform, supporting customers, partners, and internal teams alike. The work blends service, business understanding, and close collaboration with technical teams. 

“We are working from the shadows,” Chantal says, “but we make sure everything keeps running. That’s very rewarding.” 

Learning by Doing, Together 

Coming from a business background, Chantal entered a new world of support concepts, tools, and ways of working. Instead of being overwhelming, it became a shared learning journey. 

“I was new to things like ticket management and customer satisfaction scores,” she shares. “A colleague reached out and said, ‘Let’s look at this together.’ That meant a lot.” 

Daily connections across regions, open conversations, and people stepping in to support one another are part of how the team works. 

“It’s very global, but it still feels close,” Chantal reflects. “People are open, supportive, and proactive. You’re never expected to figure things out alone.” 

Agility in Action Across a Global Platform 

What Chantal values most is how quickly teams come together to improve and enhance the platform. Working across time zones and functions requires clarity, trust, and momentum. 

“When something needs attention, teams connect fast,” she explains. “There’s a clear focus on understanding what users need and moving forward together.” 

Collaboration happens in real time, with shared ownership and clear communication across regions. For Chantal, these moments show how progress is built, not through one role or team, but through collective action. 

“You really feel how aligned everyone is,” she says. “People stay calm, focused, and deliberate, even when the pace is high.” 

Why This Work Matters to Her 

What Chantal enjoys most is being close to the voice of the customer and helping turn that input into meaningful improvement. 

“We are right at the heart of where users experience the platform,” she explains. “That gives us the chance not only to support them, but also to make things better in a more structural way.” 

One moment stands out. A complex request had stalled across teams, and Chantal brought everyone together to move it forward. 

“I’m not the technical expert,” she says, “but I can connect people. Seeing business, support, and engineering work together to find a solution, that’s what makes this work fun for me.”
