Stepping Outside Comfort Zone for Growth & Upskilling
Jehiah's assignment helped develop key skills in areas like firewalls and power products, realizing there is much to lean outside the confine of her school campus. Communicating with professionals daily improved confidence, while teamwork and event participation help build connections across departments.
"My time at Ingram Micro was nothing short of remarkable, providing me with invaluable insights into the professional world. This experience offered a glimpse of what I will encounter in the industry after graduation and introduced me to incredible mentors who played a significant role in sharpening my technical skills."
Her assignment involved provided quotes and assists resellers with their product requests under Fortinet and APC by Schneider Electric. She also offered technical support, including troubleshooting and technical consultancy for FortiGate products to Australian user-clients.
