Meet Emilisa Mojica from the Go-to-Market Support team, who has found her niche by committing to driving change and inspiring others to pursue continuous growth. 

Emilisa Mojica's journey at Ingram Micro began in August 2010 as a Vendor Specialist in Order Management under CLS (formerly IML). From the outset, Emilisa focused on understanding the business and meeting client needs, working diligently to build expertise and credibility in managing vendors and partners. Her commitment to excellence quickly paid off, and after a year, she was promoted to Senior Specialist. In this role, she became a subject matter expert, mentor, and advocate for change, learning that leadership at Ingram Micro involves more than managing tasks—“it’s about fostering collaboration, innovation, and a positive work culture.” 

A pivotal moment in Emilisa's career was her nomination to the Emerging Leaders Program in 2021. “This opportunity was instrumental in developing my leadership skills, providing valuable insights into strategic thinking, effective communication, and emotional intelligence,” she explains. The mentorship and networking opportunities were invaluable, connecting her with experienced leaders from her group who inspired and guided her, such as Stal Bonifacio, Alma Canete, Olivert Ong, Irish Almen, and Arla Abanilla. Emilisa credits her co-supervisors for guiding her along her path to success.

As she advanced to Operation Supervisor in CLS Order Management and later transitioned to Xvantage Post Hypercare Support, Emilisa embraced greater leadership responsibilities. She focused on leading by example and upholding strong character, eventually joining the Purchasing ASEAN HK team, overseeing the Singapore Buying Team. “In my current role, I am privileged to inspire and motivate my team while contributing to our success.” 

One of her proudest moments at Ingram Micro was witnessing several associates she mentored grow and get promoted within GBS Manila. Their success reflects the strength of the team and the supportive culture that has been cultivated. Additionally, she takes great pride in celebrating 14 years of service with the company, along with her previous two years at Ingram Micro in PLDT Ventus. This milestone not only highlights her commitment to Ingram Micro but also serves as a testament to the opportunities for growth and development that the organization provides.

Stephen Covey’s "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" has been a cornerstone of Emilisa’s leadership approach. “His principles, such as being proactive, setting clear goals, and focusing on what matters most, have helped me manage responsibilities effectively and lead with purpose.” She often revisits her learnings from the book through the 7 Habits mobile app, which serves as a constant reminder and support during work-related challenges. Integrating these habits into her routine has strengthened her relationships and led to meaningful results.
