Meet Alison White: Driving Partner Growth with Ingram Micro
Ingram Micro is not just a workplace, it’s a platform for professionals to grow, succeed, and make a difference.
At Ingram Micro, we don’t just work – we thrive. Just ask Alison White, our AWS Partner Success Manager, who’s driving partner growth and achieving remarkable results!
Alison has been with Ingram Micro for five years, starting her journey as the National Autodesk Account Manager. With nine years of Autodesk experience, she quickly thrived in her role, forming strong relationships with our top managers. After a brief maternity leave, she returned to take on a new challenge as the AWS Partner Success Manager. “I was extremely nervous about coming back to learning a brand-new vendor, especially after spending my entire career focused on Autodesk. But I hit the ground running, learned on the go, asked a lot of questions, and with the support of my team have been able to get to where I am now”, Alison shares.
In her role, Alison helps drive partner growth using AWS programs and incentives, with a specific focus on the AWS Accelerated Development program. She shares, “This program helps partners to build their cloud practice and drive their revenue growth. Our partners that graduate from this program experience 130% growth on average and I continue to work closely with them on marketing strategy and helping them to achieve their AWS goals.”
Alison also highlights the importance of collaboration within the team. She works closely with the AWS Business Development Managers and AWS Solutions Architects in her team, ensuring that partners are well-equipped with the necessary resources and support.
At Ingram Micro, we believe in fostering a culture of inclusivity and support. Alison’s story is a testament to this. “Ingram Micro has always made a conscious effort to ensure that all team members, even those outsides of the head office, can take part in the different events and celebrations throughout the year. I really enjoyed our Sales Kick Off this year which brought the team together in person. We had an opportunity to learn about other people’s roles within the company and take part in team-building activities, which was a lot of fun. Ingram Micro Culture Club has also been great at bringing the team together hosting the Mother’s Day morning teas, charity events, trivia, and bowling nights across Australia,” Alison shares.
