Meet Yvonne Tiemeijer, our Accountmanager Mobility & Components!
Let's shape tomorrow.

Who are you and what makes you unique?
I’ve been with Ingram Micro now for over 13 years, and I really enjoy the time I spend here. Before I joined Ingram I managed to experience a lot of different things, such as living in France, Luxembourg, holding various different roles and I think these experiences taught me a lot and help me in my role now, as at Ingram I still have new challenges every day which keeps me interested and engaged in my job.
What part(s) of your role are giving you energy?
Thanks to the experience i’ve built up over my years of working I feel well prepared to complete my role, but what gives me the energy to give it 100% is the people that I work with. I usually sit in the same seat in the office but I always make an effort to get to know everyone, say hello and not only is this nice personally but it’s very helpful from a professional perspective as well.
What kind of role do you play in your team?
I like to think I’m a facilitator to those around me, and always look to aid and assist people to allow for better collaboration. I also really try to promote a friendly environment where everyone can feel welcomed, heard and understood so they can be themselves. We’re a big organisation but we’re all individual people so it’s nice to have a warm and open culture.
I think Ingram Micro is a business, but it’s still very family oriented, which can be surprising for a company of this size. We do nice stuff, we don’t forget about the employees even during tough times, and especially during the good times. I am part of the event team to really offer something nice to the associates and their families even, for example organizing Sinterklaas for our associates and the children/families of those that wished to participate. It’s nice to be involved in something that isn’t sales related.
How do you switch off from work/relax? (hobbies/interests)
I really like to travel and go on trips, either internationally or locally. Each year myself and my partner go on a big trip for instance to Curacao. I have a lot of friends over the world and in France particularly, so I go quite often, but one place on the list to visit is the US.
What motto/idea do you try to live by?
“Believe in yourself” which may be cliche, but it’s important to remember for yourself and to also believe in others.
